ABOUT ROSiE
Hi! I’m Rosie Halsted, the musician and facilitator behind TOGETHER iN SOUND.
Music has always been at the center of my life — I grew up singing and playing many instruments, later earning my degree in music and building a career that’s taken me everywhere from orchestras and bands to classrooms and summer camps. Through all of these experiences, one truth kept surfacing: While music is everywhere, the opportunity to play it together just for the joy of it is often missing.
Too often, people are told they can only make music if they’ve already had lessons or years of training. I don’t believe that. Music is one of the most natural human ways to connect, and it belongs to everyone. You don’t need a conservatory degree to feel the thrill of rhythm, melody, and collective sound — you just need a space that welcomes you to try.
That’s why I started TOGETHER iN SOUND: to create experiences where anyone, regardless of background or ability, can join in. Whether through team gatherings, private celebrations, or community events, I design music-making experiences that spark joy, creativity, and most importantly, connection.
